Established as a free pediatric clinic in 1981, the Family Health Center was incorporated in 1987 and named for Rep. Joseph P. Addabbo, Sr. who championed the cause of affordable healthcare in Southeast Queens.

Addabbo provides a full range of high-quality, accessible and cost-effective primary, preventative, specialty and enabling services to the poor, the medically indigent, medically underserved, the uninsured, the underinsured and the undocumented of New York City.

We believe the goal of healthcare is to improve the health of our patients, prevent issues and treat disease by helping them achieve good health every step of the way.
