The LPC position provide professional counseling services in a program designed in assisting participants in behavior change to maintain a healthy lifestyle and quality of life through individual and group therapy.
- Will need to see kids and adults.
- Meet with patients to determine their status
- Develop a course of therapy for treatment
- Assess patients for risk of suicide attempts.
- Provide references to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrist
REQUIRED:
- Master's degree in counseling or a related field
- LPC in good standing by the State of Texas
- Proven clinical experience as an LPC
- Insurability for professional liability.
- Eligible for Medicaid and Medicare compensation.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and listening skills
- Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.
