About Family Health Center

Family Health Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the citizens of Kalamazoo County in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

We are a community-based health center charged with providing excellent, quality health care to some 70,000 historically underserved patients. We take our mission seriously and work diligently to ensure that all people who enter our facilities are treated with dignity, respect & a welcoming spirit. Our goal is to create a “medical home” for families, children & adults who seek answers to their healthcare needs.

The Family Health Center works closely with other health care providers and specialty clinics in order to connect our patients with available resources. Our behavioral heath services continue to grow and improve, allowing patients to make better use of the health care system. We provide patient education and medical advice, helping our patients to avoid costly emergency department visits.
