Additional Information: Provide excellent care and service through the provision of patient care & assistance to the provider. Protocols are the foundation of the care provided, including but not limited to lab specimen collections, injections, phlebotomy, in-house lab tests, vaccines, screenings, and referrals.
Qualifications for CMA:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program REQUIRED
- Certificate of completion as a Certified Medical Assistant OR Registered as a Certified Medical Assistant REQUIRED
- Over 3 months of relevant exp REQUIRED
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) PREFERRED
Qualifications for MA:
- 3 months of related experience OR 6 months' commensurate work experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient healthcare setting REQUIRED
- Certificate of completion from a Medical Assistant Training Program OR if commensurate work experience, a High School Dipl REQUIRED
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) PREFERRED
