Additional Information: Provides comprehensive OB/GYN care for HealthNet and Methodist Hospital patients across outpatient clinics and inpatient settings. Responsibilities include diagnostics, procedures, consultations, referrals, screenings, preventive care, and patient education. Maintains concise, accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation and uses health-literacy methods when communicating.
Performs daily hospital rounds, writes progress notes, and oversees residents, midwives, NPs, and students while supporting high-quality teaching. Participates in peer review, quality assurance, and provider audits; maintains punctuality, timely follow-up, and infection control. Supports community outreach through presentations, board events, and professional networking as needed.
